Seminar | Fidic Contract
To understand the importance of providing standard contracts for construction projects that have been used globally, the Legal Department of Thang Long Elevator Equipment Co Ltd and N2Law Lawyers Association Limited Hanoi organized the "Fidic Contract Seminar" at 44 Hao Nam Headquarters with the participation of related departments.
FIDIC originally translated from French acronym for '' Fédération Internationale des Ingénieurs - Conseils '' and the International Association of Consulting Engineers. The birth of FIDIC is the result of the close cooperation of both domestic and international engineers in the field of consultancy.
FIDIC currently has more than 60 members, including consulting organizations from other countries, including the Vietnam Construction Consulting Association (VECAS)
The purpose of these contracts is to clarify the contractual relationship between the parties and the division of risks between the Owner and the Contractor. FIDIC points out that their contracts equitably divide the risks that they can tolerate and that they can control them.
